1HOMEWORK FOR Ms. Grandt's Classes
DATE: Thursday, January 11, 2017
It is very important that you practice your son or daughters spelling words, read at home, and practice one digit multiplication facts every night!!!
For math intervention classes we will start working on one digit division facts soon.
4th Morley, ELA - All guided reading groups are recording their commercials and will be editing them. Our class goal is to watch them on this week.
4th Prostka, ELA - I have two guided reading groups and they are working on using context clues when they read their guided reading novels. Group 1 is reading Helen Keller and Group 2 is reading Louise Braille. We will continue reading and filling in a graphic organizer with difficult vocabulary words as we read.
4th Strickler, Math - Mrs. Strickler and I are working on lessons 9 and 10. Students have learned three different ways to multiply one by two and one by three digit problems. Yesterday those who needed some extra help had peer tutors for some extra practice in class.
4th Coolidge, Math - Mrs. Coolidge and I continued to work on Lesson 8 and students are learning different methods to multiply one by two and one by three digit numbers. We also had MAP testing towards the end of math.
